In this continuation of Digital Imaging with the GIMP, students apply the skills that they have mastered to create works of art. We will study the elements that have cropped up in digital imaging and determine what constitutes art in the digital medium.- The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the steps and techniques necessary for computer programming. Students will use both simple algorithms and multi-classed programs to solve various real-world problems in preparation for the Advanced Placement exam. Students will learn how to design, implement and execute many programs using the object-oriented Java programming language.

In this semester course students will be introduced to structured programming, and apply physics, mathematics and technical skills to building robots for specific tasks. This course will emphasize critical thinking and problem solving skills, as well as collaboration and team work. Students will progress from following diagrams and instructions to create robots, to designing and implementing original models and programs.
